I’m very happy with this guitar stand. It is relatively compact, yet holds five electric guitars with additional shelf space for amps or other things. Previously, I had the five guitar shown in the picture on individual floor stands in my studio area. I gained a tremendous amount of floor space by switching to this stand, and it is anI gained a tremendous amount of floor space by switching to this stand, and it is a much tidier look as well.Assembly was pretty straightforward and took less time than I expected. As always with this sort of furniture assembly, read the instructions carefully and don’t rush through. The only issue I ran into is that I installed the outermost sections the wrong way, so that some holes were facing outward instead of inward. Those holes are used to attach reinforcing rods, so I had to remove the sides and flip them around. This mistake added only about five minutes to the process, so it wasn’t a big deal.I do recommend attaching the brackets to the shelves before installing the shelves (see attached picture). The instructions say to attach the brackets to the frame and then attach the shelves to the brackets, but I found that to be somewhat challenging. If you preinstall the brackets to the shelves like I did, just leave the screws partially loose so that you can adjust the shelves on the frame properly before tightening everything down. The quality is pretty good. The tubular frame is surprisingly lightweight, but when everything is assembled, it is quite sturdy. As long as you have it loaded up with a few guitars and some items on the shelves, it feels very solid on the floor. I did notice that a couple of the frame sections didn’t align perfectly with one another, but it’s pretty close and a very minor issue in my opinion. This was on sale for about $80 when I ordered it. I consider that to be a really fantastic value. The value proposition at the regular price of about $140 is considerably less, but I would still recommend it if it checks all your other boxes.4.5/5 stars. My only regret with this product is that my amps do not fit on the lower shelves. So they have to sit on the top shelf, which is where I would prefer to put my bookshelf speakers. Other than that, I really love it, and I’m super happy to have regained a lot of floor space in my studio.
