I gave this 2 stars because it was missing an essential part, namely a washer. Without the washer, the pole can not be secured to the base. Now it's easy enough to get another washer and put the stand together, but they should not be shipping products that are missing essential parts.This stand has the same quality as the ones they use ine hospitals and doctors offices.
