I've been using Tama microphone stands for many years now and whenever I use something else, it's just not good enough. Compared to the Tama, other stands feel wobbly and flimsy and the hardware just feels subpar. All of the clamping hardware on the Tamas are very high quality and hold very well. This is by far my favorite microphone stand.Sure, they're a little more expensive, but they're well worth it in the long run and once you get used to the feel of these, you'll never want to go back to other brands.
