I read all the reviews I could find on the COLOR of this “antique silver” cabinet before buying it. I would describe the color as METALLIC PALE OLIVE GREEN. This chameleon color changes with the light, sometimes looking taupe or tawny beige, other times looking light olive. The metallic sheen is subtle, not gaudy. In summary, it reads as a great neutral without being boring. It’s VERY pretty, without dominating the room. The instructions say it will take 10 minutes for 2 people to assemble. With 2 old ladies, we did it in about 40 minutes. It’s a solid piece, very sturdy. The entire front panel comes with doors pre-attached, making for easier assembly and doors that are well-aligned. That’s an excellent thing!I swapped out the cabinet door hardware for Hickory oval ring pulls—less florid and more classic. The cabinet arrived just 5 days after I placed the order, and the seller was very helpful in letting me know when to expect it to arrive.I do wish flat-packed furniture packaging created less waste for the landfill. I filled an entire garbage bin with it!
