As you can see I already gave it 5 stars & wouldn't be helpful as much if I keep telling you how much I love it.I mainly use this for school and as you can see in photos, I use heavy textbooks on it for reading / studying. I'm surprised the adjusting knob just gave in because of my constant negligence of leaving the text book for the rest of the day when I'm not studying.Great Customer service! I contacted them to just buy the book holder but they just sent me one instead. It's worth every penny already!Since I like chilling by the couch, I can have the stand in between the pads so it's a more stable book stand than the wood ones that I place on top of the padding.Product specifics:I noticed they gave me a different version of the book holder. The platform is much shallower than the "Height Blue Cat" that I got a year ago (I dunno the model name of this new one). As you can see in the photo, it can still hold a text book as long as it has a hard cover.The adjusting knobs is way better than my old version. The one that I just broke, you had to pull to adjust. This new one is you push the button to adjust. I like this new one better because its more of a closed system than the "pull one", it feels sturdier.The old one's knob felt slight flimsy already, I just can't believe that it held up on wear & tear for almost a year.Now, I can put the adjustment knob of new one to the old one to get the best of both worlds!
