One of the legs was bent. And yes while I could've returned it to get it replaced, shipping takes forever. So we tried to get it straight enough to assemble.The drawer had missing holes for the hardware to get screwed on. Luckily we had a drill.Instructions are horrible. No descriptions, just pictures, and the way the pictures show you to put it together either didn't make sense (in the beginning steps), or wasn't exactly correct. Took my husband and myself 2.5 hours to get it all together.Minus all that, it is a good desk. Does seem sturdy. Pretty spacious while also not taking up a whole lot of room. Beautiful color. Just be prepared for the setup to take a bit, and have a drill handy.While this is a great quality desk for the cost, with lots of legroom and a comfortable height… The manufacturer needs to take a look at the assembly instructions and make some improvements. While putting together furniture is rarely an easy process, this took me over 2 hours. Part of the issue was that the instructions (mostly small pictures) offer little guidance on how best to go about the assembly (like when to turn pieces over or on their side, ensure things are oriented the right way, etc). I ended up making a error at the beginning of the process that I didn’t realize until the very end of the process, so I would have to dismantle a sizable portion because one hole was on the wrong side. The other issue was simply that I should have used an electric drill rather than using the tools provided. My hands were aching by the end. I would recommend this desk but I would rather walk barefoot across a floor covered in legos than deal with the assembly again.This was easy to assemble and has great leg room. Would have liked the desk space to be just a little bit larger and longer along the side. But works perfectly for my work and home laptops.Love the layout and look of the desk. Just what I need. However...putting it together was terrible. Stickers had come off bags of parts and it was pretty confusing. Also, the drawer will not go on right. We had several people try and it won't close all the way. Major bummer but still useful. The bag on the end is not something I'll ever use. Not sure why it's there. It's not for small rooms for sure. I'm making it work though.It’s a nice desk with great leg room. I have two monitors and a laptop for work. The long side of the desk is slender which means my monitors are very close to my keyboard.The instructions had you do some things in a strange order, but we got it put together and we were impressed with the quality for such an affordable price.The first steps in putting it together are a royal pain. Once you get past that initial step - it's downhill and easy assembly from there. Beautiful desk. Looks great in our space.Love this desk! Somewhat easy to put together for just one person. No defects that I've noticed. Very sturdy! So glad I made this purchase!
