I read so many reviews on this and comparable free standing parrot perches and I'm so glad I chose this one. It's very easy to put together. The instructions were great and the tools provided fit the task well. It looks nice. It's very sturdy and rolls easily. The medium size is perfect for my African grey and only took him a short while to learn to love it. I don't know why there were any bad reviews on this product. If you take a moment to put it together correctly it's perfectly sturdy.
