Let me start by saying that I caught this boom stand on Amazon when it was $71.00 Yes $71.00! That made it an outstanding value. Less than than 1/2 off the normal price. I was in the right place at the right time. All aspects of this stand are great. Looks, operation, feel, ease of set up, chroming, memory clamps, footprint etc. It is lighter in weight as a result of the aluminum arrowlight legs, but since the rest of the stand is steel is does have weight as do all double braced stands. If you were hoping for a feather light stand then get a single braced. Other than that, this Gibraltar product is flawless.
