Original Below. After more than a year’s daily use, I remain content even pleased with this purchase. In terms of durability it has proven remarkably strong and bulletproof. It has survived movers, myklutzy wheelchair use, and, for the last 8 months, daily studio use.In the music studio it supports one of my most oft used synthesizers, along with a computer keyboard, trackpad, a clamp style work light and a 27” monitor on a clamp—on arm. It handles this load without complaint, though with little space left over. I’ve been surprised at how durable the top is. While it looks nice enough, under touch it’s clearly a plastic material over some kind of pseudo-wood. Nonetheless, in spite of clamps, wheelchair hits, and a nearly unreasonable load, it’s still undamaged and unblemished. So, I remain impressed- enough so that I’ve bought another.°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°Original Review:I’m 15 years plus in a wheelchair and always on the lookout for furnishings and equipment that might make my life simpler. This table fits the bill. It’s large enough to eat or read at, or for using with a laptop or iPad. It moves easily on hardwood or tile floors. It’s a bit tough over carpet, but the wheels could easily be upsized after a visit to the home repair/ hardware store. Height adjustment requires some strength, but would be easy enough for most para’s and even a few quad’s like e that have shoulder strength. The table seems well made and like it will hold up well. Count me impressed.
