I spent a lot of time (my wife would say that I wasted a lot of time) deciding on what TV stand to purchase. My top priorities were style, corner possibilities, and affordability. Unfortunately, $300 was a little more than I wanted to spend, so I waited to make the purchase. Now I'm wondering why I waited so long! This is a great piece of furniture! It does what it's supposed to do (provides a place to put my TV, BD player, PS3), but it does it with style! I wanted a piece that I could use in the corner if I decided to move it, but also something that wouldn't look ridiculous if I put it up against a flat wall. This one does it! I currently have a 48" Sony on it, and I think it fits the TV perfect! At this time, I have removed the TV bracket on the back, so the TV is just sitting on the top shelf. The TV is high enough that you can't really see the brace that comes up behind it, unless you are standing right in front of the TV looking over it. I may decide to actually use the mounting system later, but for now, this working very nicely. Then only thing I would say that I was disappointed in was that the cams used to attach the wooden legs are a little off, making them kind of tricky to assemble. I also overtightened one of the shelf supports, and it started to crack the wood, but reversed it, and now you can't tell it even happened.
