I'm very impressed with the build quality, the welds, the finish, and the nearly one inch locking pin! While it listed as a 12-ton jack, I am assuming that means as a pair per the ASME standard, although it doesn't state that anywhere on the jacks or in the instruction pamphlet. There is zero wobble to either jack, and they are plumbed and welded perfectly level. Also very little side-to-side movement of the uprights even in its highest position. No movement on the non-pin side, and maybe 1/8 to quarter inch movement on the pin side when I rock the uprights with my hand.My jack stands came with a sticker that states they were made in India. That surprised me a bit because every other jack stand I've seen is made in China. As most others have already stated, the packaging is subpar. Just a medium weight cardboard box with each piece in bubble wrap. My box was mostly busted open, but Amazon had it in another larger box with zero fill of any kind. The stands themselves made the trip in nearly perfect condition with only one little chip. The uprights were all scraped on one corner, which you can see in one of my pics. Doesn't affect the usability at all and I really don't care all that much for a tool such as this, but a little bit extra attention to the packaging could have prevented this. I mean stick a piece of styrofoam in between the stands and the uprights, and strap the box closed and you'd be golden.I really appreciate the welded on circular holder for the massive locking pins, and also the retention cord for the pins. These pins are far more hardy than the little teeth on the ratcheting style jack stands, and they inspire confidence. Just what I need for my dually and my fifth wheel. Highly recommended!
