It is a bit noisy sounds like plastic filling.. but the comforter is soft and warm. It fluffs up after a few days and absolutely no smell when unpackaged . Great deal! I purchased a king for a queen bed and grey ! Color spot on !This is an amazing blanket. It is soft and comfortable. It is lightweight. It keeps you warm but doesn't cause you to sweat. I have a king size bed and it fits perfectly with room on sides. It fits easily into our washer. We are using it in tge chicago winter and it does a great job and we are comfortable with just it on our bed. Great qualityIt’s not heavy, light weight but perfect for cold nights. I think it’s too warm for summer months but I prefer my room cold.I've had this duvet for a month. It fluffs up nice after a couple of days. I have it in a duvet cover and I've yet to see any feathers when I take it off to wash it. It's so light and fluffy feels like your sleeping under a cloud.Omg I am in heaven very light weight but very comfortable down comforter I am tired of gettin cold at night so this is a must have comforter if you want to stay warm and cuddly at night great price and worth every dollarMy husband is a sweater, and even though he still does, it’s not as bad. He complains about being hot way less.Light weight and good valueI never imagined that a down comforter would be lumpy and clumpy but here we are. I have many down comforters. I wash and dry them and they plump right up. This one whilst it did plump up, the filling in each section, whatever it is, is balled up and won’t loosen up with mere shaking. I’ve never had a down comforter act this way. Because of this I strongly suspect this is not 100% down. The fabric is noisy but that doesn’t really bother me. I only mention it in case it might bother you. The cotton fabric is not extremely rough or extremely smooth. I use it without a top sheet and it’s fine in that regard. It was very inexpensive and I don’t hate the comforter. I even ordered another one.
