This is potentially a great product, with sturdy design and thick steel. My experience was problematic because one of the “stretcher” bars was malformed and out of square (see photo) upon arrival. The 90-degree bend in that part was not made parallel with the outer edges resulting in a significant warpage of the shape making assembly impossible. On closer inspection I noticed similar flaws on other stretchers, but those were minor and didn’t significantly affect the ability to assemble. My unit also had two defective fasteners: a washer that was split in half and a nut with bad/non-functional threads. There were no extra fasteners provided in the box. I called the company and spoke with very nice people but was told that since I bought it on Amazon they could not send me a replacement part. I later received an email saying that I was given incorrect information and that they would send a replacement part but it’s nearly two weeks later and I haven’t received it yet. I had to buy a new one and return the other. I lost well over 2 1/2 hours trouble-shooting this and making calls, plus I was extremely inconvenienced as I needed the product for immediate use and it was unusable. The irony is that the assembly instructions repeatedly advise to check that the parts are “squared” before fastening, yet the manufacturer does not apparently do the same when fabricating the individual parts. My rating is based on the poor quality control of this product and the difficulty I had in resolving the issue.
