The product is sturdy and looks nice. My only complaint is one corner is dinged up. The packaging was in perfect condition so it had to have happened prior to packaging. We were a little apprehensive about ordering this because of the reviews of others having it fall off of the wall, but during the install I made sure it was mounted to studs and everything was tight. It’s been on our wall for over a year holding a ps4, Xbox one, our stereo head unit, and all kinds of random things that any flat surface will undoubtedly accumulate and it hasn’t let us down. If you take your time and make sure it is secure to the wall, then you’ve got nothing to worry about. I recommend this product.Assembly? A pain. But with a little time and patience it came together. Now the main issues. The wall attachment? A total afterthought. This thing for starters weighs a lot. It’s all very, very heavy particle board. Then, came what was definitely an afterthought at the company. How to attach this heavy shelf to the wall. Their solution? Two tiny… and I mean tiny for the job, screws, that are held in place on the unit by these two cheap and ugly metal tabs you have to force between the screws and the back particle board like washers. Once the screws are in, you’ll have maybe an inch and a half worth of screw length that’s actually going into the wall. So I got the screws into the wall studs and the shelf was officially on the wall. Well within 5 days, it was on the floor. The ridiculous weight just ripped the tiny screws out of the studs. And down it went. Total trash.Easy to install took about an hour.Did some modifications.Because of the studs where of centered to the wall and the TV, I had to used a 2x4 plywood to center.I also put it above the tv just because my living room was kinda small but the turn out came out great. This thing has been small but mighty and really ties together our living room, however save yourself a lot of trouble and don't put the top on until you've mounted it to the wall. The instructions will tell you to assemble it and then mount it but they lie. It's so much easier to assemble all but the top, mount it on your wall, make any adjustments AND THEN put the top on. Your back will thank you later. So far so good, I’m happy with the size and it was easy to assembled.Good for the price. Some of the anchors were tougher than they needed to be and was missing one. But seems sturdy thus far.The wall mount pieces didn't line up with the studs so we used wall screws to drill in the backplate and studs accordingly. Just preplan the holes and then mount. Also it's wide enough to mount into 3 studs. So I would recommend doing that. This product was easy to put together and it didn’t take long. They even gave us an extra piece just in case. We’ve had it on the wall for over a month now and so far so good. I’d recommend this to anyone we love it and it really tied in our living roomExcellent media console. I was a bit skeptical buying this media floating console, but when I received it and installed it, it turned out to look very modern and contemporary. It's not too obtrusive and can fit all your devices in it plus games or blu ray discs on side shelves. Only annoying thing was that the installation instructions were very vague... Good thing my friend is a handyman and was able to help. If you can build Ikea, you can build this. Easy to setup. Do yourself a favour: follow directions and use studs. Other than that, looks great. This unit is exactly what we were looking for. I didn't like the mounting brackets and screw system that came with the unit, so I used another four long wood screws through the back of the unit into the wood studs in my wall to make sure it's good and secured onto the wall. Once that was done, every looks great now.
