First I'll just start with the positive, this TV board looks so good and was exactly what I needed to cover up (the majority) of the build-ins in the wall of my living room that I do not like, and at a reasonable price. I will be putting in storage bins in the remaining part of the built-ins that the TV board did not cover. With the limited living room space I have, I was unable to find anything else that would cover up the wall that was not a big bulky entertainment center. This not only functions as a space saver in a small room but definitely has that cool factor to it, tons of compliments! WOW does it look awesome!!! My TV is 65 inches and fits great! The only reason I am giving this 5 stars is that the overall look of the TV board looks amazing in my small space and goes with the overall aesthetic of my decor/house.And now for the 2 negatives. Hanging this TV board on the wall is not for the faint of heart. It is quite the process. Maybe more so for my husband and I because the wall we mounted this to a mostly hollowed wall due to the built-ins we were trying to cover. Your situation will probably be different if you have a normal wall. We had to install 2x4s inside the built-ins so we could securely mount this monster to the wall without it falling down, but, just the basics of putting the TV board itself together will take some time. We decided not to stress ourselves out and put it together and mounted it over several days. It definitely takes 2 people to hold/position while hanging it on the wall. For any single ladies reading this, I would recommend phoning a male friend or family member or hiring a handyman to help you put this together.Last but not least, buyer beware, you WILL receive this item damaged. How can I be so sure? Because the first time I received the package it was damaged on the corners (just like so many other reviewers did), so I returned it and ordered a replacement and the second one was damaged in the same exact way, the corners were busted! Really, twice, come on?! Still mad about that. If I had other alternatives out there to choose from I would have returned this and said forget this altogether, but as I said, small space, limited options, low price, so I just accepted that I was going to have to repair the busted corners myself with furniture markers (which can be purchased on Amazon as well). I posted photos of what the damage looks like. Some tips (things that were helpful to us): a stud finder is a must, a level is a must, purchase heavy-duty wall anchors, a rubber mallet comes in very handy getting the boards to connect flush together once it was on the wall, be sure you have all the cords to your electronics in place before mounting the TV board to the wall, put the TV mount on the TV board before you mount the entire thing to the wall. Oh, and mark out all your studs in the wall beforehand to prevent tons of holes in your wall. We mapped ours out with painter's tape as seen in the photo.
