I am reviewing the product itself because at the time I purchased it (several years ago) I did so through a different online seller. Thus, I cannot rate Amazon's service--only the product and the manufacturer.I have had this enclosure for around three years now. It's fantastic--but expensive. You can get better space and value in a $20.00 6-ft kiddy pool from the dollar store (I have one of these as well and can say that the Tortoises prefer that over any other tank they go through (I have 4 Tortoises and 4 enclosures, so they rotate)). However, if you ARE looking for style, longevity, and just a very nice tank overall--this is certainly the piece. I have both the top (as displayed here) and the matching bottom piece. I will say that the set will cost you huge money and while it's nice to have the matching set--I felt the manufacturer could've done a better job adding shelves into the stand (there are no shelves and no back wall on the stand).Overtime, the tank has held up nice and cleans very well. I have never used the locks on it (I don't own snakes or have fear of someone trying to steal a Tortoise off me)--and for good reason. They never did fit together just right and trying to lock one of them would certainly break it clean off the top of the tank. So if you're looking for locks... well. Not these ones! The class panel in the front is nice for both me and my tortoises. It makes it so I can look in on them.... and they get to look out on me! One of my particularly boisterous males will latch a foot onto the "sill" and stare out into the room at me. This is nice because it lets him have that WITHOUT the normal confusion of an all-glass aquarium. Also, my niece really enjoys it--and I do, too, on behalf of the tortoises. This tank has saved my tortoises from my niece on many occasions. This way, she's just the right size to look through the glass panel... but not big enough to open the top screen! Brilliant.Don't be fooled--this thing is BIG. It really fills a space and is quite a large tank in general... even compared to the 6-foot kiddy pool. The sleeping area is especially nice because it allows the tortoises a HUGE amount of space to sleep in and be by themselves (something they just can't achieve with a log). I also get to open the door of the sleeping are and peek in on them if I want. When we put it together, we sealed the points where the floor meets the walls with chalking--DO THAT. Just in case. No complaints so far! With this being said, let's talk Penn Plax INC. The company has very poor shipping and manufacturing--they'll sell you a product that they do not have made, which messes up with their online distributors who then have to tell the customer that, hey, we don't have anymore for a month! I say this because this is exactly what happened to me. This was big time on the manufacturer. And when they actually did have the product for me... they actually shipped it to someone else. In New Jersey... I don't live near New Jersey, and my name is not Jerry. BUT that was more to do with the online seller than the manufacturer.Overall? After I finally obtained this item and put it together--it has held up beautifully. Perfect condition after 3 years of use. No complaints. Very spacious, and perfect for adult Russian Tortoises (including a very large female).
