It is very heavy duty and holds the bike up fine. But the geometry of the spring is such that it barely holds the stand up and it hangs so far down, even in the fully UP position that you can't even turn a mild corner without scraping. It would be impossible to ride safely with it on my 2009 KLR 650. I DO NOT have lowered suspension. I have no idea how anyone could actually ride with this stand unless they raised the bike or rode with extremely stiff suspension setup.
