To dim or adjust the color temperature of the light, tap the touch sensing arrows at the top of the lamp head. The black arrows adjust the lights on a cool white color spectrum while the red arrows adjust it on a warm white color spectrum. Because of the built in dimmer, the lamp cannot be dimmed externally at this time. The lamp is plugin operated and works with 110v - 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets. WHAT TO KNOW- The Lightview Pro comes packaged securely in styrofoam boxes for the head and the base and is very easy to put together. Just follow the included instruction diagram; no additional tools necessary! The lamp's height can be modified between 55 inches to as low as 24 inches over a bed or chair, by removing the additional pole piece between the head and the base. It can even be used as a clamp desk lamp with an appropriate clamp base. It has a maximum outward reach of 29 inches.
