This dress looks so cute and unique and I was really excited for it- but when it arrived I was sad to find that it was way too small for me. I know that American sizes and UK sizes are different, but I researched the size difference and found that even if I had ordered a larger size, based on the style it would still be too small. In the photo, the dress hits well below the knees and elbows on the model. On me, it hit well above the knees and elbows, like I was wearing a little kids' dress. I'm 5' 8.5", and usually wear an American dress size 6. I can only conclude that the model in the photo must be very small in order for her dress to hit below the knees.I gave it an extra star because the dress itself is was a very high quality and felt very soft.This dress is cute, comfy and the material is soft. I think I expected different material for the price - but the dress seems very well made and versatile. Fit is exact - so make sure you pay close attention to the sizes listed. Very happy with this dress! :)As I said before with the Navy color.....I bought this for my daughter and she loved it so much we bought the grey one. It's a very nice dress and we're very pleased with it. It looks great on her and the size is perfect. She wears them with boots but I think they'd look just as nice with heels. The underslip is a great bonus.
