As far as particle board furniture goes, this one is OK. I expected the quality to be good enough for my use and it met my expectations.I needed a surface to place my wide format printer but I was limited on space. The reason I choose this stand above all others is it satisfied my dimensions. It had to be 24" wide so that it clears my room door, yet large enough for the printer, and it had to be under 27" tall so I can slip a portion of it under a work bench (to clear the door). This unit fit perfectly. The assembly took over an hour. I work in a lab putting systems together, so I have a good experience when it comes to assembling. A lot of people find the famous Swedish Furniture Store assembly instructions confusing. This unit's instructions are worse. The pictures are tiny and hard to understand what is conveyed. Some of the pictures do not accurately represent the actual unit parts. For example, the bolt and peg pattern pictures are not the same as what pre-drilled on some of the panels. If you are having trouble assembling, it is not you but the poor instructions and maybe a second pair of eyes might be helpful.A lot of people are mentioning the lack of predrilled hole for the door prong on the bottom. My unit (purchased September 6, 2022) had no issues. However, the bracket where the door locking mechanism goes had 2 holes indented but not pre-drilled. The reason is it utilized self drilling screws and the hole was not necessary. Still, I wish tiny holes were pre-drilled to keep the screws going in straight. I did not use casters as I have no intention of moving this unit.Despite the assembly troubles, I like this stand. It fits my room nicely and matches my white and oak color theme. It also provided me with extra storage for paper and various printer related accessories. For particle board, I do think it is overpriced. But so is furniture at the Swedish store which has gone up in price significantly over the past few years.
