I first heard this album back in the 70's while living on the island of Barbados. It had come directly from England where it was extremely popular at the time. As a teenager, I identified with the lyrics as well as the delivery, and found it to be very sexy. The music has hung around in my head for many, many years... and I found myself searching for the album over the internet year after year, without any result (not even on Napster). Then, I found the Title Song "Hang On In There Baby" on one of the file sharing systems about 5 years ago, realizing then that the Internet will finally get me back in touch with this super sweet music. Now, here it is, in all it's spendor, and easily available on Amazon. Thank you Amazon, for bringing Johnny Bristol's sweet music back to me.
