Very pleased to find this was much more sturdy than expected. It really is a beautiful piece of furniture and the fireplace puts out heat nicely.A few assembly tips/notes:- There are a LOT of hardware pieces, but the instructions are pretty easy to follow and all of the pre-drilled holes line up perfectly.- Get yourself an Allen wrench with a T-handle or use an Allen bit with a bit driver. The one included does not have the clearance needed at the corners of the base frame.- If you're assembling this by yourself, do so in the exact spot you're going to place it. It is extremely heavy for one person to move.- There is a little leeway in the exact placement of the top and bottom brackets on the sliding doors. Once you've finished a door, place it in the rails and check the top and bottom lines. If one side of the door is a little higher than the other, it will make the 'slide' feature much more difficult. You can loosen the screws and adjust the brackets slightly up or down as needed to correct the issue and then re-tighten.Recommendations to the manufacturer:- The length of the included Allen wrench really should be addressed to clear the corners of the bottom frame.- The cutouts for wire management on the back pieces are perfect for those that need them. For those that don't, having the cutouts optional, as perforated circles that can be popped out if needed, would be a great feature.- The addition of 'hidden' casters beneath the bottom base and within the bottom base frame, at perhaps 1/4" to 1/2" taller than the base frame, would make this tv stand absolutely perfect. It really is beautiful - however it is a monster to move. This actually may be something we add on our own in the future. All said and done, I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy again.
