I did a lot of research for pianos in this price point. I also went to see the Williams Legato at a local Guitar Center. That one looked nicer, but the keys on the Williams Legato were not weighted. This pianos keys feel really nice, although I was able to differentiate between the sound quality of the ones in the piano studio and this one, piano studio’s pianos are obviously nicer. Those ones are probably a couple thousand If not more. I read some negative reviews on here but those guys are probably professional. If you’re just starting and you don’t want to break the bank, this is a real nice piano. I can definitely tell that sound quality is better in those fancy Yamaha pianos at the kid’s piano studio, so I can understand why an professional would rate it bad. Really nice quality, has everything you need. It does not have a pedal though, which you may need later. I got the package that included the Rock Jam stand, the stand definitely is premium quality, it feels like it could or should cost more. Only concern is: I haven’t been able to use or connect the straps from the stand to the piano. Maybe they’re not long enough, or I don’t know how to attach them. Piano, though, so get this I’d it’s your first piano, you won’t be disappointed, best bang for the buck.
