I want to preface this review by saying that this desk is fantastic! I am able to fit 2 large monitors, a laptop, some desk supplies, and my keyboard/mouse. It's a great size for a small set up. I'm actually using it as a secondary desk in my set up, and I have a larger (not convertible) desk next to it. I work from home and need the space, but I'd imagine if you are using it for casual usage you might be ok with just this desk alone. It arrived in a small box for how large the desk is, which was kind of nice. I was able to get it in my office myself with no assistance. It was packaged very well and had lots of foam padding to keep everything safe.Despite how wonderful it is now that it is all set-up, the set up was moderately difficult. I set it up alone and I had a difficult time understanding the instructions. They were not very specific at times and it took me a bit to find the correct pieces/parts. The frame itself is also very heavy, so it's not an easy one-person job. I'd also recommend that you do not use a drill for this; I tried it at first and it didn't work for me. I had better luck with a decent screwdriver. The other thing I'd recommend is keeping track of your cords before you screw things in. I did not do this, and had to unscrew the frame from the top because I got my cord stuck in between the frame/table top. I fixed it, but it was mildly annoying. I've set up plenty of furniture in my lifetime, but this has to have been one of the most difficult things I've ever set up. It took me about an hour from start to finish.I like how smooth it rises and lowers, and it was easy to figure out how to set up the preferences on the keypad. I like the height adjustment and it's easy to get it where you want it. I really love this desk, and I'm grateful I won't have to set it up again. I would still purchase this desk, regardless of the set up. Standing desks (convertible desks) are extremely expensive, so at this price point, I'll give an hour of my time and a bit of frustration to save some extra money.
