Desk converter is just as described. 2 separate power cords - one for desktop other for power outlets. Works very nicely and smooth. Keyboard shelf sits directly on desk and is about 7/8" above desk. Top of converter is 4.5" from desk. I have a 32" monitor on a clamp stand and the desk has a little bit of front to back wobble however does feel relatively sturdy. Easy to put together and materials seem solid.
