I couldn't believe the size of this sucke when it arrived and I opened the box lol. You definitely are going to need a lot of counter room for it, and an open height on your counter if you want to put the blender/juicer on the top of the unit. The plastic pieces that come with it do feel a little thin. I could see them cracking a little easily, which is the only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5. Ok, the negatives are out of the way now lol. As for the unit itself, it is so cool! This is such a great concept and everything that the ad says comes with it, came with it! I have not used the dough hook yet, and honestly I don't know if I ever will. I just don't do a lot of home made baking of cookies, and i don't eat bread. The blender/juicer is my favorite part of this thing and it works GREAT!! So does the regular mixer part. It's also, an attractive unit to look at. So far, I definitely WOULD recommend this, as long as the thinner plast lid parts wouldn't bother you.This is a good stand mixer. I’m not by any means a professional baker, but I have used it several times for cookies and pizza. It was super easy to put together and use and it’s a good size. I felt like it didn’t mix the dough at the bottom of the mixer that well, but it still got the job done and is fun to use. I will definitely be doing a lot more baking in the future.This blender/juicer is a perfect purchase for someone getting their own place. Instead of purchasing multiple appliances you can get just one. Yes. The downside is the height of the blender but feel that having two separate items (juicer and blender) would take more counter space which is more of a concern. It functions as advertised and the motor isn’t loud on the mixer. The sleek red, silver and black looks cool too.This is a nice set. Very unique. But as convenient as it is, it’s huge on my counter. It’s a heavy piece. The suction cups on the bottom are helpful for keeping the mixer duo in place, as things do get a pretty shaky.I do like how you can't operate the unit without either the blender or the cover in place. However I do not like how both operate at the same time. The unit is slim but with the blender on it it's super tall. Overall I'm shocked at how nice it is. The beater feels like cheap fake metal but the dough hook and the whisk are great. The bowl is great. The cover with the beater is very difficult to get in together. Haven't tried with the dough hook or the whisk yet. No weird smell which has been fairly common place with brands I've never heard of. Overall happy with the purchase I just wish there was a way to operate the blender and the mix independently and not at the same time.So I ran across this stand mixer accidentally while looking for a different one. When I saw the gorgeous red and black colors I was definitely intrigued. So after reading the information and looking at images I was ready to try this mixer out. Needless to say, I was immediately hooked and so glad I skipped the other brand.This one not only comes with the usual suspects that mixers do but also includes the ability to use it as a blender. The bonus is it included everything for that mode as well. Let me say, it's not a gimmick either, it actually does that rather well. So there's no need to pull out a blender provided you have reasonable expectations for this mode.As for the mixer, I have made brownies, cupcakes and 2 big cakes. It's perfectly done what it needed to and then some. There's been no issues with motor burn or getting to hot and it's definitely not struggled to spin.This is a nice quality stand mixer that gets the job done each and every time. I can't think of a single thing I need or want from it that it can't or won't do. So I love this unit and say go for it to anyone in need! You'll have a happy stomach!Got this for my sister and she started using is right away. Make a cake and frozen margaritas.Doesn't take up too much space, has everything I need to bake or make shakes. Great addition to the kitchen.
