The original owner had returned it for a minor factory defect. The neck is punctured on all the frets where the dot inlay marker was imprinted. If this were my first ever acoustic guitar, and had I bought it new, I would have returned it too, but this doesn't affect the playability of the instrument and I cosmetically remedied it by inlay decals of my own. The pickguard was put on the wrong way, so I had to remove it and put another one on. The edges of the fretboard could have been filed down better as they are quite sharp in some areas. The action of the strings is just. Usually, I have to adjust the truss rod to lower the strings closer to the neck, but didn't have to do that this time around. Other than that, this is a great guitar. Sound quality wise, it sounds like more expensive guitars especially since I changed the strings out with a set of D'Addario Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings light gauge 12-53's. This guitar is the war horse you take with you camping, hiking, busking, open microphone night first time recitals, what have you. Definitely a keeper.
