I'm 6' 2" and 160lb and I ordered a medium then started to second guess myself. But when the coat arrived, the arms were the perfect length for me (probably a little long on average body type). Shoulders, chest, and waist fit perfect. This is how a slim fit coat should fit. Super-soft leather and half the weight of a traditional motorcycle jacket. I would recommend you order whatever size t shirt you normally wear. That being said- this is a slim fit so if you have a beer gut or dad bod you may want to look for a different coat but if you've got a Mick Jagger/ Iggy Pop kind of frame then this is a great coat.
