The stand is mostly built out of aluminum. It is STURDY and I had no problem lifting my bikes up to the clamp. Then, I was able to position the bike precisely where I wanted. The aspect I enjoy about having the bike stand, is being able to sit on a chair doing meticulous time-consuming work. Previously, I would tire out with back pain and have to stop working on the bikes. But now, I just work away.I like the small trap with a magnetic bottom to better keep track of screws, nuts and bolts. The holes on the tray’s edge is very handy for my tools as well.Opening up and closing up the stand is easy. The stand folds up nice and tight for storage. In my garage, space is at a premium and this stand fits in well. The top METAL CLAMP with teeth on it, is excellent at grabbing and holding my bikes. My new Trike is coming weighing 65 pounds. As long as I can lever the back-end up, then lift the front end up, on a block - then I can clamp the Trike into place. I was thinking of a hoist on the garage ceiling to lift the Trike up high. But just having both wheels off the ground, will do the trick. The stand came to my home fast by the delivery ? courier. There was no damages to the box or stand. I had to get this heavy duty 110 pound capacity stand, because of my new electric Trike, is coming. My daughter, loved the stand as well, for working on her mountain bike. This stand is a good investment, saving lots of money from not having to go to the bike shop.
