This was pretty hard to assemble and I had to take a few pieces apart to put them the correct way. Took about 3 hours to assemble but it’s well worth it. Has a lot of space in drawers and shelves and is a very sturdy nice desk. I use it for work and makeup!Arrived pretty quickly in two separate boxes. Asked the seller a shipping question, they were helpful and friendly. One of the drawer bottom pieces (#13) arrived damaged. I think it was packed poorly. But after having gotten the packages into my apartment and open, there was NO way I was going to try to return/exchange it. I decided to just live with it.As soon as I saw the instructions I was annoyed. I know I'm not the only person who is sick of companies giving all-picture "instructions" with no words, thinking they're making things "easier" because people don't want to read. In fact, ive never seen a single situation where instructions without words didn't make things MORE complicated than they needed to be. It's absolutely ridiculous.Even if you don't mind that it's all pictures, the instructions were still not good enough. There were lots of parts where the images in the instructions didn't match what the parts looked like -holes shown in places where they aren't on the piece, existing holes not shown at all, or even parts shown differently in the illustration than they actually fit together (specifically one of the last few steps, part 26 I think). A lot of it was confusing and could have been easily cleared up with even just one sentence or a more detailed illustration. There were also several instances where pieces weren't even labeled, and several times when there either weren't holes in a part that needed them, or there was just a little divot you just have to dig the screw into. All that said, there were only a couple parts I put together wrong and had to take back apart. The instructions suggested 2 people would need about 3 hours to build it and I did it alone in about as much time (breaks not accounted for, lol). The desk is beautiful and I'm very happy with it. It's definitely a little pricey for a made-in-china item that definitely has some cheaply made parts and is so much hassle to assemble, but I'm overall pleased.I definitely can't recommend for anyone who is hoping for an easy install. But its entirely possible and the results are pretty great. ?Edit: Also, if you are someone who is clumsy, sits "criss-cross applesauce" (for lack of a better term lol), or has kids, be warned. The corner above the drawers is REALLY sharp. I drew blood within less than 24 hours of owning the desk, lol. Get corner protectors if you have children around. Seriously.Arrived in 2 boxes! (Once box contains all pieces that involve the drawer section while the other box has everything else) Now lemme start with it took me 5-6 hours to put together this desk (no breaks) but that's because I was doing all the screws by hand (no power drill) and it was just me building it- I'm certain with help or power tools this desk can be put together super fast! Plus a good chunk of time was spent making 4 holes on the bottom of the drawer piece (where the metal base attaches) I could not find the 4 holes for the larger flat screws there however I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I somehow managed to put the piece on in reverse and did it to myself- figured I'd mention the possibility though since I've seen some other folks mention a missing hole or two. Honestly though? Directions are easy to follow and as long as you're being mindful of them you'll get the desk together in no time! Heads up the entire building process is all basically screws in some fashion so get a power tool or get ready to be twisting a screw driver the whole time. The desk is lovely! It's super sturdy, the weight of it is very manageable to move around and the overall design cool! It's nice having a desk with a pop of metal and unique layout. The shelves are perfect for various small items to really make the desk your own! If your a computer person like myself- having two possible sections to put your tower in to free up your space is a blessing to! You could have it up top in arms reach or down below under the left shelf so its more away/protected. If anything happened to this desk I'd buy another in a heartbeat for sure! Its functionality, size, design and ease of putting together were worth every cent!Hello everyone reading this I’m here to inform you about this desk. Let’s start off with sturdiness. I have had this desk for a couple of months now and it’s still sturdy have not need to tighten any screws. If you’re looking for a big desk this is the one. There were no scratches on any pieces. I inspected every piece. Also to let you know that it comes in 2 boxes. I will say the only negativity I have is the instructions to put this thing together it’s only pictures. I recommend using your own tools as they give you a screw driver which is the only tool that is needed to put this thing together. I put it together myself but important notice it will be easier if you had some help as some parts did require another person to hold something in place while the other person is screwing in the pieces together. All in all it’s a great desk for a home office, college student, or a gamer.I really enjoy my desk but I definitely needed a second person for assembly
