I just today received this product and it is EXCELLENT! Exactly what I was looking for. I had searched Amazon for a quality stand for my i pad air, but I didn't see any that appealed to me. No other stands I looked at appeared to be as versatile or practical enough, so I wouldn't have to constantly hold the i pad UP and/or constantly bend my neck DOWN to comfortably use it while sitting on the couch or seated in my recliner. I can also easily take it upstairs to use in bed.I'm a musician, and this unit reminds me of a good quality mic stand, and the swivel L-arm model, ( I purchased the MH-207) was a snap to put together. The stand holds my i pad very securely, easily telescopes up and down, and I can easily go from landscape to portrait mode with the touch of a finger. I can also tilt my i pad up or down as needed to "fine tune" the position. It's perfect.I've been using a Belkin folio style case, but it's too bulky to fit inside the top and bottom"clips' that hold my i pad in place, so as long I'm at home..I don't need a case at all.A true "hands free" stand. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
