I am impressed with this jack stand, as it will provide me that extra set of hands of support while working under my classic cars on my car lift. I also like the fact that they designed-in the foot pedal, so I can give the supported piece that extra little "lift" to help out. The open bearing used to support the center post while providing a smooth surface for rotation works great. Easy to grease-up. BTW - I learned that to make it easy peasy to raise or lower the support when spinning the threaded part - lift up the upper shaft assembly to disengage the bearing (as in my picture), and you can spin the handle VERY easily to move it a long way with one slap on the handle.There are zero instructions included, but if you ordered this lift jack-stand because you have a car lift and need this tool - then you have the mechanical aptitude to assemble this stand. And you can figure out where to add a lot of grease to make it function even easier.This looks like any typical China built tool found at the Harbor store, but it's simply a steel weldment that doesn't need to be a high precision tool - so you will be good to go!
