I ordered the monitor stand in Pure White. Like the other items from the Victor Collection, this is beautiful, high quality, and very functional. It provides a level of timeless elegance to an office setting. The simple, streamlined design is versatile enhances multiple design styles, from modern to traditional. The surface in which the monitor rests is crafted in a monotone (as in white on white, black on black, etc.), leather-like material that features a subtle texture. However, it's more durable that traditional leather or polyurethane and seems resistant to wear-and-tear.Wood: The wood is heavy, high quality/solid and has a gorgeous matte finish. In the event that the surface is scuffed, the material is colored all the way through so it doesn't create an obvious defect.Design: The drawer slides open and closed easily. Letter sized papers and various notebooks fit into the open cubbies for quick access. (I use the drawers for envelopes and the top slot for copy paper.) The height positions monitor viewing in a more ergonomically correct fashion. I never realized how much neck strain is caused by monitor viewing until I started using this. My neck is feeling much better now! (Note: I'm currently not using it as a monitor stand due to a new office set up, but I still love it as an office organizer.)Although Victor is a pricey brand, I feel that it's worth the cost. I also own the printer stand, file holders, tidy tower, destop organizer, and paper trays. They coordinate beautifully together for a plosives look. With proper care, I believe they'll last a long time. These are my "Forever Office" accessories. The only potential issue is that it may be small for larger sized monitors so consider the dimensions carefully in relation to your needs before you buy it.
