Never have I been made so unhappy by something I ordered from Amazon. This was a nightmare, from arriving with cracked, broken, and missing parts, to horribly confusing directions (page 1 is pictured), to cheap materials and hardware and misaligned predrilled holes. I don't think anyone expects these assemble at home furniture projects to be a dream, but this one was the worst of the worst. The package was over 70 lbs, so you likely need 2 people just to bring it in the house. Upon arrival, the top had chip and a decent crack though the veneer center, and one of the drawers bottoms was similarly cracked (both pictured). However, because I did not have access to customer service, and because I wanted to be able to review this for you all, I forged ahead. The instructions have no narrative, just incredibly confusing and vague pictures. If you don't have background knowledge to know basically how to put drawers together (like which way the wheels should face on the tracks) and how to make sure all the vaneer (and not the raw particle board) is facing the front, then you will have difficulty as the instructions do not explain these concepts. You will need your own tools, as this set requires a hammer and multiple screw driver heads that are not included.Upon starting to build, which ended up being an extremely frustrating 5 hour process, I could see that the materials were crap. A metal part broke as I was screwing it in; the wooden support pegs cracked in half easily (pictured). Except for the one wooden peg that was so strong and misaligned that it punched right through the side of the board (pictured). Very few screws went in straight dedpite predrilled holes. After 5 of some of the most unpleasant hours of my life, I got to one of the last steps, which is to add the 3 metal feet at the bottom. Well, there were only 2 (puctured). I posted a question about how to get the missing part, but received no response. Therefore, I had to leave the feet off.It should also be noted that there are stickers placed by the manufacturer that are very difficult to get off, especially the top sticker that annouces the weight limit. Though I washed and scrubbed, some sticker residue still remains. It claims to have a 200 lb weight limit, but with the big crack down the top center and the worthless interior broken support pegs, I don't know that I would trust that weight limit. It looks decent from a distance when covered in my beautiful plants, but the veneer top scratches very easily from the planter pots. And of course, it doesn't look nearly as nice as it would with the feet. Please know that I suffered through this project so that you wouldn't have to. This item was sent to me for review, but I still have to pay taxes on its value, so it will end up costing me about $50.
