I know a lot about structured water, and the theory of the heart as a vortex etc, but even knowing this stuff doesn’t convince me right away that water in a vortex is better than water sitting in a carafe.I used filtered water in our Mira, and upon first trying the water out of the carafe, I could tell there was an immediate flavor difference from the water straight from our filtered faucet, compared to the water from the Mira carafe.Somehow, you can always taste water that comes from a faucet of some kind, even if it’s been filtered - that slightly metallic flavor always hangs around. After our filtered water spun in the carafe, it tasted extremely fresh, with no trace of faucet origin.I was shocked, as I really didn’t believe it would make much of a difference, but it absolutely does! After using it for two weeks, I only retrieve my drinking water from the Mira carafe and can taste a distinct difference between water in the carafe versus water from our filtered faucet. You can see how the vortex pulls oxygen into the water, and bubbles start to form on the inside of the carafe as it spins - there’s definitely something going on that changes the properties of the water to make it more friendly and desirable for our bodies to drink.Besides the fact that I’m sure it’s a worthwhile product for health reasons, it looks beautiful! The ceramic base goes nicely in our home, the carafe itself looks elegant and streamlined.Definitely a weird, but worthwhile product! If you are on the fence like me, try it out! You will be surprised at the difference in the quality of your water!
