It seems to be sturdy and aligns with my décor. Since I want to purchase a larger TV, a bigger exertainment stand is required. The center shelf spacing was another key reason for purchasing this unit. I need space for a large center speaker. It didn't seem too difficult to assemble. For older folks, I would suggest using some type of small but adequate stand to make assembly easier (I used the empty package/box across the arms of my recliners). I did run into a problem with the magnetic mount holes. Each magnetic mount is designed to use 4 predrilled holes. The unit was missing 2 on each side; however, I felt the 2 predrilled holes were adequate especially since the glass doors will not be accessed that much.
