My husband writes music arrangements & prefers to stand while doing so. This desk’s height adjustment works great. I am shorter than him and can adjust the desk where I like it while sitting & so can he. It was not hard to put together. I would not put a lot of stuff on it as the wood is not particularly thick & two top pieces are spliced together with dowels. I wouldn’t really lean on the edges hard either. But it’s a great desk for our needs. We also bought a vinyl protector for it as the wood seems soft. I would definitely buy one again.Now that I am working from home 100%, It helped my low back injury!I recommend it 100%This was a simple solution to a complicated space. Love how easy it was to put together. Took about 20 minutes. Two improvements would be how the cables get organized and then the desktop itself but there are some good options on Amazon.My back pains while I sit all day long in front of the computer, so I purchased this electric stand up computer table.I had been using it for more than 2month before I make comments. It works great to reduce my back pain. With electric bottom, up and down is so easy. Now I can stand up for 20mins while sitting for too long.We ordered this desk about 9 days before my boyfriend needed it for work/school from home. We thought it would be perfect. We were wrong.After running into a multitude of shipping issues (a the seller ships with FedEx), and we FINALLY received our desk late last night.This morning we got up bright and early to assemble it. After only completing the first two steps in the instructions, we realized the support bars and rotation rod needed to elevate the desk were the complete wrong size. As in, they clearly were made for a smaller sized desk and there was no way to fix it. We also plugged in the motor to make sure it worked and it kept giving us error signals. Note that I’m a PA and my boyfriend works in IT and deals with lots of engineering everyday, we are very capable of assembling a desk, if the right sized parts are included…Being as we needed the desk for tomorrow, we were super frustrated and tried to return it. The returns have to be made at a UPS drop off center. NOTE: They make you pay for your return shipping labels and everything needs to be re-deassmbled and in the original box sealed or you need to pay for a $30-40 new shipping box before you can return. This is not like other Amazon returns where you can scan a code and don’t need the box.0/5 stars. Would not wish this hassle and poor quality of product on my worst enemy. Go dumpster diving for mismatched parts for a desk in your local neighborhood and you’ll probably have better luck then being sent a desk with the proper assembly pieces.I was really worried after seeing all the reviews about how something was either broken or the assembly was too difficult…but it took me about 30 minutes to put everything together and it works perfect! I really like it! Ergonomic, affordable, and easy to put together.Works as advertised.Easy to assemble.Spacious desktop.Looks nice.Directions and assembly were good and quick enough. Seems very sturdy for the price.
