I have waited a few weeks to write this review because I did have an initial issue with the cage. The front door was warped making it noisy and hard to open without startling the bird. It was a manufacturing defect that neither the seller or shipping carrier could have avoided. I contacted the seller and was immediately sent a new front panel. Kudos in my book.Now for the cage. I was hesitant to buy it because I did not know the thickness of the bars. This cage was to replace my old umbrella cockatoo's cage. I know that she can bite right throw smaller wires. I asked questions and received answers that satisfied me. I bought the cage.My bird loves it. It took her a few days to figure out how to open the side feeding doors. It only took me a minute to tighten down the screws so the swinging door latches could not be opened. My bird cannot reach the screws so she no longer opens the doors. I do need to use the provided allen tool to loosen them to remove the dishes for cleaning but that looks better than weaving a chain around her cage and using padlocks which is how I had to secure her old cage.The bottom line... this is a very responsible seller and the cage is strong enough to hold Houdini.
