The white isn't as white as in the picture, however I am in love with this bowl. It looks beautiful on my red Kitchen-aid 5qt mixer. No more staring at the metal bowl! It latches well for almost everything. I will say I do have to tighten it occasionally when I'm making bread, but that dough can put a beating on the mixer after a couple of minutes. It came packaged very well, no issues and it has been used several times a week since receiving for Christmas. I'm already looking at buying others for different seasons!
