First of all, it looks fantastic, exactly as desired. It took me about 4 hours alone, but i wasn’t really rushing. Some of the wood is sadly very thin, so i can’t stress enough if you rush this you will tear something up (i did not). That said, once assembled, the cheap pieces are hidden by the general frame, which is itself very sturdy and strong. I have a 70 inch tv sitting on top of it, and could not be happier with it. I would give it a 5th star, but the chance of destroying the cheap inner wood is very off putting.Pros: incredibly easy assembly, clear instructions, conveniently marked packaging of screws to know what is needed. It uses not just screws but wooden pegs to hold itself together, once completed it feels very sturdy.Cons: cheap inner materials (the outside wood is solid). Sliding door is not 100% smooth, and yes i have realigned it multiple times to ensure proper assembly.Overall for its price, i absolutely would suggest buying this product if you are looking for a gorgeous mid century tv stand, simply be patient during assembly and all should be fine.
