For those of us who need multiple windows/screens when working, this screen extender is a great tool for working remotely. It’s probably a best fit for laptops that use 15-16" screens with 16:9 ratios, but I’ve used it with a 14" 16:10 laptop, and it’s a reasonably good fit for that too.The USB-C connection should work for any laptop that supports display connections over USB-C/Thunderbolt. The two 1080P screens only require half the bandwidth of a single 4k display, so it doesn’t put an excessive strain on laptops without fast GPUs either. The screen extender is really easy to set up, the angles are flexible and it sits on a table without requiring the laptop to support it. The DPI is low relative to most non-gaming laptops, so it’s less pleasant for reading text, but it’s great for things that don’t require a high DPI.The laptop I’ve used this with is a Windows laptop with an arm64 CPU, and there were no issues with compatibility, although the LCD displays can’t match the picture quality of the internal screen, which is AMOLED, HDR, high-DPI, etc. For early Apple Silicon laptops that only support one external display, it might be possible to use both with a DisplayLink driver. I haven’t tried that, though. My only complained about this screen extender is that, when it’s folded, one of the screens is exposed, so you have to be careful when packing it for carrying. It really ought to come with a protective carrying case. A laptop sleeve designed for a 15" laptop might work, but a rigid as opposed to soft design would be better for protecting the exposed screen from pressure in a laptop bag etc.Overall, this is great to have, but the lack of a protective case makes it a little bit cumbersome for carrying. I had to take off a star for the lack of a case, but I can still recommend it.
