My first time using this stand was a recent outdoor graduation party and it proved to be quite stable on a lawn. The adjustable sides gripped the monitor so well that the security strap was not needed. I do have to unbolt and remove the table and beverage holder to pack it away in a bin so it won't be damaged in transport. This takes a little time but worth the effort. I am glad I chose the VocoPro MS-76. It provides a professional look.
