Bought because it looked sturdy and likely the best quality based on the price (one of the most expensive on the site). Let's just say it was neither. Base is uneven - and it's one piece! Very cheap materials and a poor paint job (whatever it's made of - I doubt it's wood - has multiple unpainted spots). I figure it will last 6 months. You don't always get what you pay for.Purchased for my father, after he searched everywhere for something styled like this. Very pretty, nice addition to any room
