I had another laptop desk from the same manufacturer that was good, but I moved around too much and it was meant to be stationary. I purchased this instead. Note that you will need a separate lap desk for your keyboard mouse to make this ergonomic. You can also raise it up to be a sit/stand station, but again, you'll need a place to put your keyboard. Still, this is a great solution for small work-from-home spaces! It's well made, easy to assemble and aesthetically pleasing. Well worth the price tag.I'll note that the other laptop stand (check the manufacturer's store) was better for bringing the laptop to bed when my back was bothering me; the laptop arm on this one is short and doesn't swing over the bed, so I do not recommend this one if you're looking for something you can use while laying down. But the tablet arm does swing over the bed, if that helps. You could potentially swap the laptop and tablet connectors, but since I have the other laptop stand, I'm just moving that to the bedroom in case I need it again.
