I've only had this mixer a short time but it is great! The first thing i tried was chocolate chip cookies, a true test of a mixer because the batter becomes so thick and stiff. It handled it with ease! The pure copper DC motor is strong and very quiet, the attachments are stainless steel, it's splatter proof (lid), digital controls with automatic speed adjustments and a timer that includes automatic shutdown. Its great! It has suction feet that really hold and the mixing bowl fastens down tightly and does not move. I've never used one but I can't imagine a Kitchen Aid being any better and this is practically half the cost. I'm not disappointed and would definitely buy this again
