First, follow the directions step by step and it works. The fireplace is nice, the "wood logs" are a little small but the flames are better than some I've seen. The cabinet itself is fairly good quality so no complaints about it. But the description at the time we purchased said it has glass doors. The clear inserts in the doors are plastic - not glass. I did complain and they changed the description to organic glass but never-the-less it's still thin plastic. If it's important you can put your own glass in. This is the same item on Wayfair SKU: W010134504 and doesn't mention anything about the doors but the reviews do. I assembled the entire thing by myself laid flat on a very large island. But then it was too heavy and I needed help getting it on the floor.
