The product looks exactly as advertised. It was easy to assemble with a drill and Phillips head bit (not included). The directions are extremely detailed and are easy to follow. It's much sturdier and seemingly uses higher quality materials than other self-assemble furniture pieces.UPDATE: I'm keeping this review at 4 stars. After missing hinges in the initial delivery, it's taken more than a week to get a resolution with Modway. I told them in my first email that I purchased the product through Amazon, but I was told that I needed to contact the retailer for any claims or missing pieces. So, I called Amazon and was told that's not the case. Then I called back Modway and was told that I could, in fact, submit a claim through them but had to email a copy of my Amazon.com receipt. I'm finally getting my missing hinges (I have a tracking number) but a bit of a hassle to warrant 5 stars.I love this TV stand! It arrived well packaged and none of the pieces were damaged. Similar to other reviews, it does look and feel more expensive. It’s the perfect size for apartment living but still holds quite a few electronics—we have a PS4, Apple TV, wireless modem/router and Firestick sitting somewhere on the piece. It’s big enough to keep wires hidden and everything looking clean. Assembly was very easy and straightforward; I did it myself in about 45 minutes. All that said, I’m lowering the rating to four stars because the packaging was missing the door hinges. We think it also looks nice without the white doors, but it’s annoying that I now have to contact the manufacturer in hopes they’ll send us the missing components.I’ll update my review with any relevant information on dealing with Modway.I've assembled plenty of furniture over the years, slowly upgrading over time from your basic closetmaid bookcase, to nicer Target (Wyndham, Carson etc) furniture. This is by far the nicest piece of assemble yourself furniture we have bought thus far. I'm not sure the difference between particleboard or pressboard or any of those manufactured wood products, but this felt solid and sturdy (while not being exceedingly heavy). All the components were well packed. I cautiously removed each component (so that I could pack it back up if need be) to check for damage and it was all damage free. It even came with real wood screws to secure some of the pieces together, not just the cam-lock connections. I assembled it alone and took less than 2 hours. I expect that it will last for some time without loosening up and getting wobbly. So far everyone who has seen it has complimented the style. I'm very very happy with this piece.I usually don't like buying furniture online sight unseen. But let me tell you, this TV stand has beaten all my expectations and more. It is stylish, sturdy and well-constructed. The materials are decent too - yes, it is still just made of mdf wood. However, the finishing touches are exceptional. The surfaces of the main cabinet have an actual wood grain feel, not just the visual pattern. I was very impressed when I first felt it! Most Ikea furniture would not have that. The design is thoughtful, not just in terms of looks, but also in terms of sturdiness and functionality. For example, its set of feet is attached to its own wooden subframe that bolts on to the bottom of the main cabinet. They are not just stuck on like an after thought. It has this expensive feel to it even though the price is very reasonable for a mid-century style stand. The two cabinet doors also look great, the rounded corners give it a distinctive and authentic feel. It was delivered to our house in perfect condition and well-packaged with enough padding material. Assembly is ok - it did take me over two hours to complete, and I am a seasoned furniture assembler who knows how to read schematic diagrams and instructions very well. The extra time in assembly is attributed mostly to the above average number of bolts and hardware parts required to put everything together - which is actually a plus since it really gives the unit strength for long term use. Our 55" LG LED TV looks great on it. If you are considering this TV stand, don't hesitate, it's a great buy and you will likely love it like I do.With a heating duct behind the wall, I could not wall-mount my 50" Television and needed a piece of furniture to hold the TV off the floor in my game Room. The size of this unit was perfect; and the assembly was fair and easy. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble the piece and set it into place. While it is not real wood, it is sturdy enough and complementary to the room as well as having the much needed storage and surface space to hold my game consoles and such. The assembly directions are very clear, and the parts are labelled and packaged in order. If you have never assembled a piece of furniture, you may want to schedule an assembler to come and do it for you. This TV Stand does its job and looks fantastic!(The photos show the moment I finished assembly, and the unit set into place). And, yes ...
