I feel the stand itself is 5 star. The little cable guides though are another issue. My unit came in with a broken clip (there are three of them). BRAND new unopened box. Unforeseen at the factory? Maybe. I tried to take one off to move it up, broke that too. You have to "twist" it the "right" way to loosen. Pure junk IMO. Should have made it out of rubber instead of hard plastic. Good idea, bad material. SO. I called them and they had no problem sending me replacements. VERY honorable. THEY WEERE SUPER NICE too... BUT I told them is it's of the same material, don't bother. And I argued with them (nicely mind you) as they really wanted to send them, I asked "why" they will just break and piss me off again and again. Until you change the materials I would rather use sticky velcro. Problem solved if you want to route your cables up along the stand and out of site. I purchased a third tier and this stand loaded with 2 keyboards and a laptop is SOLID! Like anything else of this nature, and drunk falling on it, it WILL TIP. You can't protect yourself from stupid...lol The stand collapses nicely but only has room for two tiers. BUT, get the carry case and it has room for more legs. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SET-UP. It also has a spot on top for their "optional" mic stand, I can see from the cable guides that it might not be a good idea as well as reading a review that it was made from the same crap and didn't hold up. WTF ... over??? 5 stars for the stand....2 thunbs down on the accessories. Light weight (built in handle), carry case to protect the stand...extra pocket for another tier...I would get another if I could learn more keys...lol (I'm a bass player learning keys).
